Bio
Michael Barnett is an American actor known for his impressive height and distinguished brows. Born in Northern Pennsylvania, he started acting in high school when he landed the role of Big Jule in "Guys and Dolls." Upon graduating, he went to college and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Media Studies at the Pennsylvania State University. After graduating college and moving to Pittsburgh, PA, he felt called back to acting and returned to honing his craft. He has studied under Randy Kovitz of the Carnegie Mellon University School of Drama, Cotter Smith, formerly of The New School for Drama in New York, with members of the Society of American Fight Directors, and with others for acting, stage combat, stunt-work, and more.
Michael's career has brought him to the stage and screen where he has acted in commercials, voice overs, theatrical productions, and films. He most recently completed filming as the Killer in "Little Mouse," and on stage as Darrel "Darry" Curtis in "The Outsiders" at the New Hazlett Theatre. Michael is represented by Docherty in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
